For the “Patra Enomeni” municipal faction, sport is a priority and is characterized both as a social good and as a driver of development. In this sense, the head of the major opposition of the Municipality of Patreon, Kostas Svolis, might not be absent from the conference organized by the newspaper “Peloponnisos” at the “My Way” hotel, which had as its main theme how sports can lead to economic development. THE Kostas Svolisin fact, was accompanied by a large group, as the meeting was attended by municipal councilors Battle of Sioro and Philip Oikonomou and the members of the faction “Patra Enomeni” Maria Oktara (president of the Winter Swimmers), Sotiris Kliris (ESKA-H treasurer) and Christos Solomos (representative of the Trade Association).
Kostas Svolis followed with great attention the proposal of the editor of “P” and candidate for the president of the Chamber, Theodoros Louloudis, in order for the Chamber of Achaia to emerge as a coordinating force for any sporting effort that will bring multiple benefits to our region and declares itself “present” in the effort, in order for sports to be in practice the great “weapon” for the economic development of our region. As the program of “Patra Enomeni” for sports states: “Frequent meetings of the sports players of our region are imperative with the aim of exchanging opinions and submitting proposals on what should be done during the year and in depth 3 years”. Kostas Svolis also agreed with the proposal of the president of KAE Prometheus Christos Milos for the creation of a public information software for sports events in Patras.
