THE LEADERS of the Collective Center (PPK) of the Multipurpose Mutual Cooperation Organization Unit (Kosgoro) 1957 declared their support for Airlangga Hartarto as general chairman of the Golkar Party for the 2024-2029 period. Airlangga is encouraged to nominate once more at the National Conference (Munas) in December 2024.

“With the grace of God Almighty, considering and so on, remembering and so on, paying attention and so on deciding, determining to provide support to Mr. Dr. Ir. Airlangga Hartarto as Chairman of the Golkar Party 2024-2029,” said Secretary General of PPK Kosgoro 1957, Sabil Rachman , at the Fairmont Hotel, Jakarta, Monday, (1/4).

This support is stipulated in KPPS number 080/PPK Kosgoro 1957 concerning the establishment of Kosgoro 1957. General Chairman of PPK Kosgoro 1957 Dave Laksono said the reason for the current declaration was so that the atmosphere at the National Conference would be unified.

“Why, because we have to strengthen our enthusiasm, our belief, that God willing, our National Conference will be united,” said Dave.

Airlangga, said Dave, as General Chair of Golkar increased the number of votes in the 2024 Election. Airlangga was also said to have succeeded in pushing policies that had an impact on society, especially Kosgoro 1957.

“This is an extraordinary achievement. Airlangga made our move quickly to nominate Prabowo-Gibran and it was immediately ratified in the presence of all the leaders of the Golkar Party of the Republic of Indonesia. God willing, this enthusiasm will continue this year towards the regional elections,” said Dave.

Airlangga praised Kosgoro 1957’s contribution to the Golkar Party’s victory in the 2024 elections. It was proven that there was a significant increase, namely to 15.28 percent and the vote rose from 17 to 23 million.

“Thank God, we also won the pair of Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran with a victory of 58 percent or 96.2 million votes. These two wins certainly made all of us Kosgoro and Golkar cadres work hard,” said Airlangga. (Z-8)
