President of the ÖVP Senioren pleads for the quick resumption of constructive work for the people of Salzburg.
Wi (OTS) – Ingrid Korosec, President of the ÖVP Senioren, sees parallels in the election result with the past state elections in Tyrol, Carinthia and Lower Austria: „It is particularly difficult for government parties in these uncertain times. Nevertheless, the People’s Party is still the strongest political force in Salzburg and will continue to stand up for the concerns of the people and especially the older generation. Governor Wilfried Haslauer and his team have maneuvered the country well through the crises of recent years with their constructive government work. The result of the election is an order to continue to lead Salzburg through these difficult times”so Korosec.
At the same time, the President of the ÖVP Senioren pleads for a disarming of words and the rapid start of coalition talks, “so that the constructive work for the people in the country can be resumed as soon as possible”she concludes.
