While a medical group has announced a large-scale downtown rally tomorrow, residents who left the hospital show no signs of returning.

There is strong opposition from the medical community to yesterday’s police search and seizure of the Medical Association and some executives.

The government issued an unusual message and explained that it was “not trying to put pressure on all doctors.”

The Korean Medical Association announced a general rally tomorrow at Yeouido Park in Seoul.

We are encouraging doctors across the country who are opposed to the ‘increase in medical schools’ to participate.

After the police’s forced investigation, it is expected that the participation of angry doctors will increase further.

″You know that a search and seizure warrant was issued and a (commencement order) was issued to 13 juniors in our major, right? Members were very angry because of that.″

In response, the government issued an unusual message.

This search and seizure is intended to “confirm the leader and degree of participation in illegal collective action,” and is “not a measure to intimidate the medical association or put pressure on all doctors.”

The Ministry of Health and Welfare also actively refuted the critical position issued by the World Medical Association and WMA.

″The Korean government’s unilateral decision to “increase the number of medical schools” has created chaos in the medical field,” and urged ″to stop coercive measures,″ the Ministry of Health and Welfare said, ″It is unilaterally representing the views of the Korean Medical Association,” and ″The government’s actions do not comply with due process.” “It was followed,” he said.

There was no movement of residents returning to the clinic today.

Large hospitals in Seoul that postponed surgeries and only accepted serious and emergency patients were rather quiet, and secondary hospitals were busy.

″(My mother) had a cracked leg. While walking around the house, he fell due to his age. “I was very worried about which emergency room would accept me.”

As there are signs that more full-time doctors, whose contracts expired next week, may leave, patients’ anxiety is growing.

The health and medical union issued an appeal and urged residents to return as soon as possible, saying that there are problems with the government’s coercive attitude, but that it is a dangerous situation where a medical accident may occur at any time.
