The Korean drama series entitled Low Life, starring Ryu Seungryong and Yang Sejong, will be broadcast in 2025 on the Disney+ Hotstar film screening service platform.
According to a press release, quoted Thursday (18/4), the drama series was written and directed by Kang Yunsung, who previously worked on Big Bet and The Outlaws.
Low Life is set in Korea in the 1970s. The drama tells the story of fishermen who find treasure at the bottom of the ocean and the people who take risks to get a share of this treasure.
In an attempt to escape a miserable life, Oh Heedong partners with his uncle Oh Gwanseok to reach where the treasure is located before word of the discovery of the fortune spreads.
Actor Ryu Seungryong plays Oh Gwanseok and Yang Sejong as Oh Heedong in the Korean drama series Low Life.
Ryu Seungryong previously starred in the drama series Moving and Chicken Nugget, while Yang Sejong starred in the drama Doona! and Temperature of Love. (Ant/Z-1)
