The Korea Tax Association (Chairman Jae-yi Koo) has set out to help flood victims affected by torrential rains.

The Korea Tax Accountants Association visited the ‘Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho)’ in Mapo, Seoul on the 8th and donated 100 million won in donations from tax accountant members to support flood victims who suffered damage from the torrential rain that fell nationwide in July. .

The Tax Association heard the news that Hope Bridge would be conducting the ‘2023 Emergency Fundraising Campaign to Help Flood Damaged Neighbors’ and raised ‘donations to help flood victims’ from all members for 11 days from July 21st to 31st.

On this day, the donation delivery ceremony was attended by Jae-yi Koo, Chairman of the Korea Tax Accountants Association, Chaesu Lim, Chairman of the Seoul Regional Tax Accountants Association, Lee Joong-gun, Chairman of the Central Regional Tax Accountants Association, Myung-jin Kim, Chairman of the Incheon Regional Tax Accountants Association, Jae-man Lee, Chairman of the Daegu Regional Tax Accountants Association, Sung-hu Kim, Chairman of the Gwangju Regional Tax Association, and the Daejeon Regional Tax Office. Moderator Koh Tae-soo, tax accountant Jung Jin, and secretary Kim Hyeon-joon attended. In addition, Kim Hee-nyeon, general manager of ‘Bridge of Hope’, Bae Cheon-jik, general manager, Kim Mi-gang, relief project team leader, and Song Seong-geun, disaster care PM, were also present.

Chairman Jae-yi Koo said, “We decided to donate with the hearts of 15,000 tax accountants across the country to comfort residents affected by the torrential rains and support recovery. We will fulfill our social roles and responsibilities as experts in the field.”

The Korean Tax Accountants Association was established in 1962 and is a group of tax experts with a history of more than 60 years. It consists of 15,000 tax accountants nationwide.
