The actor and artist Gunilla Dahlman died in her home on Thursday morning, aged 80, according to Aftonbladet. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007 but has been active until last year, thanks to medication.
– She has been able to live with breast cancer for 16 years, but last autumn she started to get tired, says husband Sven Åke Andersson, 83, to Aftonbladet.
Among other things, Gunilla Dahlman has made several top Swedish hits together with her husband, under the duo name Gunilla Dahlman & Amris. In addition to this, she has worked as a photo model and played once morest Nils Poppe during the 60s.
– I have always felt enormous gratitude that she chose me, that I have been allowed to be by her side for so long. She has been such a wonderful person all along, says husband Sven Åke Andersson, 83, to Aftonbladet.
