The D1B allows young people from our big clubs to show themselves and become more experienced. But the competition may soon become too small for Konstantinos Karetsas.
First there was his age: by making his professional debut at 15 (he will celebrate his 16th birthday on November 19), Konstantinos Karetsas had already made an impression. But it would be simplistic to only talk regarding his stints and ignore his performances on the field with the Racing Genk U23s.
This Saturday, on the lawn ofOstend, he once once more delivered a sample of his abilities. Launched deep on the left, Karetsas caught his defender before placing the ball between the legs of the Ostend goalkeeper.

After becoming the youngest scorer in the history of D1B, this gem of Belgian football risks continuing to apply for the best goal in the competition. Unless he’s already going for a tour in the first team?
