US game developer Kong Studios announced that they will start pre-ordering from September 14 before the official release of the Nintendo Switch version of their mobile adventure RPG ‘Guardian Tales’.
Guardian Tales, released as a mobile platform in 2020, presents the fantasy adventure story of the guardians to save the kingdom in crisis, with a solid storyline, unique retro-style dot graphics, unique humor code, and various upbringing elements. It was well received in the market.
The Nintendo Switch version of Guardian Tales, which will be released on October 4th, will show players the unique charm of Guardian Tales through a wider screen and convenient operation optimized for consoles.
A Kong Studio official said, “Guardian Tales is a game that contains the craftsmanship of Kong Studio, and has been trying to provide a wonderful game experience to mobile users. On the other hand, in this new Nintendo Switch version, players will be able to enjoy a cooler and more pleasant gaming experience through the use of a gamepad optimized for Guardian Tales’ gameplay and a wider field of view. We will do our best to prepare the service for launch and immersive play in a stable environment.”
