Konami announced, in partnership with Limited Run Games, the re-release of classic platform games Rocket Knight and Felix the Cat.

The collections will have digital and physical copies of the franchises for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. So far, there is no information about launch on Xbox and PC platforms.

Rocket Knight Adventures: Re-Sparked irá incluir as versões Carbon Engine de Rocket Knight Adventures (1993), Sparkster: Rocket Knight Adventures 2 (1994) e Sparkster (1994).

The collection will also include a new introduction animated by studio Meala, functionality to rewind the game, Boss Rush mode and a Museum mode that will bring new content.

Rocket Knight Adventures was released in 1993 exclusively for the Mega Drive. The platform game featured a marsupial knight Sparkster, leader of the Rock Knights of Zebulos who has to face pigs controlling robots.

The package with Felix the Cat will bring together the 1992 releases for Super Nintendo and 1993 for Game Boy. Konami confirmed that players will be able to save and rewind their progress whenever they wish.

Felix the Cat, known in Brazil as Gato Félix, is a character created in 1919 by Australian cartoonist Pat Sullivan and American animator Otto Messmer during the silent film era.

Limited Run Games also revealed that it is working on another Konami Carbon Engine compilation, which will be officially revealed on February 24th.
