Koller explains why Mohamed Hani paid the penalty kick against Sun Downs

Marcel Koller, coach of the first team at Al-Ahly Club, explained why Mohamed Hani, the Red Genie player, executed the penalty kick, in the South African Mamelodi Sundowns match, which was held in the African Champions League.

Al-Ahly settled for a two-goal draw with its guest, Mamelodi Sundowns, South Africa, in the match that took place this evening, Saturday, at Al-Ahly Wei Al-Salam Stadium, for the third round of the group stage in the African Champions League.

Kohler said in statements at the press conference following the end of the match: “Ali Maaloul missed in the Flamengo match, and we know that the opponent is following our matches, and if there is one player who takes the penalty kick every time, he will be studied by the competitors (he will be reserved).”

And he added: “Before each time, I select 3 players who take the penalty kick, and if there is a player who feels that he is able to shoot, then he goes to shoot, and Mohamed Hani did not waste any penalty kick in training, but in matches the pressures are different.”

And the Swiss coach continued, saying: “Afsha wasted before, Hani wasted and Maaloul wasted, and it is not the first penalty kick that we miss. The players are in the end (human beings), and mistakes are possible.”

And Marcel Koller concluded, saying: “Hani is always in training, executing the penalty kick well, and today we can say that the goalkeeper is able to save the kick.. There are 3 players that I identify, and I will not reveal who the other two are, the matter is over.”
