Former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson believes that Indian batsman Virat Kohli will shine in Asia Cup cricket. Kohli is returning to the field after a gap of one month. The former Indian captain is going through a bad period in his playing career.
Kohli did not play in the series against West Indies and Zimbabwe.
A little time away from the field will be good for Kohli. I believe that he has gained strength mentally and physically – said Watson. He scored 76 runs in six innings in the series against England. India’s first match in Asia Cup will be against Pakistan on 28th. The Asia Cup starts on 27th. Afghanistan and Sri Lanka will face each other in the first game.
