The Swedish supercar has set a new production car world record: 0-400-0 km/h in just 28.81 seconds!

Previously, the Regera’s most famous record was in 2019 when the car completed the 0-400-0 km/h exercise in 31.49 seconds. The previous record was set in 2017. Then Agera RS coped with this discipline in 33.29 seconds.

Why would a car that has long since rolled off the assembly line set new speed records? Because it’s possible! This is how they answer in a Swedish company. Regera was designed ten years ago and still no one manages to overtake it. But how can a car be faster today than it was 4 years ago? It’s all regarding Michelin’s new Cup2R tires and a smoother track.

All data has been measured and verified by Racelogic:

  • 0−400−0 km/h — 28.81 s
  • 0-400 km/h — 20.68 s
  • 400-0 km/h — 8.13 s

The Koenigsegg Regera was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and quickly sold out in a limited run of 80 cars. The first vehicles were delivered in 2018 and series production ended in 2022.
