Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce also visited Kobe’s Hall of Fame room yesterday. KG mightn’t help but admire that Kobe’s achievements deserved two retired jerseys. After hearing this, Pierce asked KG: “Which Kobe is better? No. 8 or No. 24?” KG replied:

To quote No. 24, Kobe at No. 24 is smarter and no one likes him at No. 8. No. 8 is his own demon. No one likes No. 8. We have all forgotten No. 8. No. 8 is the most challenging, people have issues with him, his shot selection, people think he’s selfish. He went through some things and came out of it, like a rebirth, and the second Kobe was a completely different Kobe, family-oriented, taking another path, a changed mentality, crazy Motherf*cker.

Pierce kept agreeing with KG’s words during the listening process, and both of them agreed that Kobe on the 24th was more pleasing to the eye.
