KNIGHTS LESS BRILLIANT BUT WINNERS IN GALLARATE | National Basketball League

Second pre-season match for the Knights and second victory against Gallarate, even if the match on Varese soil was less brilliant than the first outing.
Knights complete and without any particular problems.

The start is good with a triple by Oboe and one by Raivio, but Gallarate ties and the first quarter is quite balanced.
Coach Piazza will manage the game with 5-player substitutions throughout the match, mixing up quintets and looking for new formations, which allows Legnano to close ahead 14-21 after 10′.

Gallarate pushes on the accelerator with Bloise, taking a few points of advantage, even if Sae Scientifica remains in the slipstream with free throws, despite a low percentage that will settle at 58% (20/34).
The Knights lose the quarter under the shots of Fioravanti, but they have some flashes of good play that at half time are still worth the lead at 36-40.

The third quarter, like against Gazzada, was very positive for the Knights who started 3-0 down but soon reached 3-13, showing a very well-organized defense and ball circulation that led to good shots, Agostini from outside and Quarisa from underneath, for a quarter that ended 48-62.
Gallarate has moments of great intensity with Redaelli, but sometimes wastes it by showing a bit of imprecision in passing and construction.

Last quarter in which Legnano continues with the defensive intensity of the third period and with a well-balanced attack where, this time, Mastroianni and Sodero find the bottom of the net more easily, with Gallarate unable to find good continuity for many minutes to worry the Knights who, in the end, win 59-80.

After two good matches against lower category teams, from Wednesday the next friendlies will almost all be against National B teams.
Next appointment with the new Treviglio, Wednesday evening at 18.00 at PalaFacchetti.
