Knife attack in Mons: the suspect placed under arrest warrant for the head of triple assassination attempt

The suspect in Sunday’s assault in Mons on the very busy site of the ‘Grand Large’ was placed under arrest warrant; He was charged by the investigating judge with the count of triple attempted murder. The individual did not wish to explain his gesture. Damien Verheyen, deputy public prosecutor of Mons, details at the microphone of Aurélie Henneton: “The first elements state that the victims and the perpetrator probably knew each other, without knowing for the moment the nature of their link. These first elements point in the direction of an action in two phases: a first of discussions not necessarily aggressive and a second phase in which the suspect returned to the scene with a knife and struck all three victims.”

Two people were seriously injured. They are “out of the woods” following being in critical condition the day before. These are men born in 1990 and 1991 who are in intensive care. A young girl, on the other hand, seems to be doing better from the start, without serious injury. She was born in 2000. The three victims are from Mons.
