KMSK Deinze: Coaching Shake-Up After Winning Streak – What’s Next for the Flemish Club

Some clubs have a string of bad results but maintain confidence in their coach. At Deinze, we prefer to be original. The Flemish club won 1-3 on Saturday evening once morest the youngsters from Anderlecht and are fourth overall, three points behind Zulte Waregem. And yet, the 20 points pocketed in twelve meetings do not seem to satisfy the management and the Japanese investors who decided to part ways with their mentor Marc Grosjean this Monday “by mutual agreement, following careful consideration”, we can read in a statement.

The club then explained that it wanted to aim for the highest level. “Marc Grosjean has been passionately committed to KMSK Deinze during his tenure as head coach and we would like to warmly thank him for his dedication, commitment and what he has brought to our club. Under his leadership, we overcame several challenges and grew as a team. The joint decision by investor ACA Football Partners and the KMSK Deinze Board of Directors to end the partnership was made with the aim of taking KMSK Deinze to the next level, with the ultimate ambition of moving up to 1A. KMSK Deinze is committed to finding a successor as soon as possible. In the meantime, the current staff will take over.”

The Spront mentor arrived in Deinze in October 2022, following stints at Seraing and Stockay-Warfusée (D2 ACFF).
