KLPGA tour return reservation Cho Hye-rim hole-in-one 50 million won golden ball

Hyerim Jo (21), who made a reservation to return to the Korean Women’s Professional Golf (KLPGA) tour next year, enjoyed the fortune of a 50 million won hole-in-one.

Hyerim Cho played a hole-in-one on the 16th hole (par 3) of the 3rd round of the KLPGA Tour Dongbu Construction and Korea Land Trust Championship (total prize money of 1 billion won) held at Iksan Country Club (par 72) in Iksan-si, Jeollabuk-do on the 15th.

The ball from the tee shot from 131 yards went straight into the hole.

A gold ball weighing 600 g is hung as a prize in this hall.

At the current market price of gold, it is regarding 5 million won.

Jo Hye-rim, who lost the seed last year by placing only 80th in the prize money ranking, is taking the Dream Tour as the main stage this year and is also on the KLPGA tour.

After winning two championships on the Dream Tour, which left two tournaments, and placing second in the prize money ranking, Jo Hye-rim, who was virtually confirmed to return to the KLPGA tour next year, also participated in this tournament as a multiple-winner on the Dream Tour.

The 50 million won hole-in-one prize is close to the 65.35 million won in total prize money that Hyerim Jo received on the KLPGA tour this year.

Hyerim Jo’s hole-in-one is the 30th KLPGA Tour season and the most hole-in-one in history.

The previous record was 28 in 2017.
