Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp commented for the first time on Ramy Abbas, the Egyptian star’s business manager, regarding his statements regarding renewing the latter’s contract with the Reds.

Klopp had confirmed, in statements prior to the Liverpool-Brighton match, that the Liverpool club had done everything it might to renew Mohamed Salah’s contract, and the final decision remains in the player’s hands.

However, Rami Abbas mocked Klopp’s comments, following he published them on his page on the social networking site “Twitter”, and attached them with a laughing photographer’s expression.

Klopp said, in the press conference for the Arsenal-Liverpool match, scheduled for Wednesday, at the “Emirates” stadium, in a postponed meeting in the English Premier League: “I do not have an account on Twitter, maybe that is a good thing in these cases, sometimes it falls.” Lots of people get caught and make interesting headlines.”

Klopp added: “I do not really know what his reaction means, but I am not worried, the parties involved in resolving matters are still discussing the renewal of Mohamed Salah’s contract.”

Klopp confirmed that Mohamed Salah’s condition has improved a lot, following he was injured in the Liverpool and Brighton match, and that he will participate in the team’s training today, and at that time he can decide the possibility of entering the Arsenal match list.

Salah’s contract with Liverpool expires in June 2023, and the situation is still unclear regarding the player’s continuation at Anfield, with Barcelona entering the race to include the Egyptian star.
