Klopp on Salah and Mane: It is important to achieve good results in their absence

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp spoke of the Reds team achieving good results in the absence of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Naby Keita from the team.

“The important thing is that we did it without them, when you don’t have that top speed on the wing that they have, obviously you have to change in these areas,” Klopp said following the Crystal Palace match.

“The boys did a good job scoring goals, and I’m very pleased with that,” he added.

On the difference in points with Manchester City, Klopp said: “The distance is too far to talk regarding, but we don’t have to, we just need to win matches, every game in the Premier League is difficult as we saw today.”

“We made the game too exciting, but we’ll see what happens in the last few months,” Klopp concluded.
