That Kliment again. Striker Jan Kliment decided the full point gain of SK Sigma Olomouc footballers in the match against Mladá Boleslav. He scored two of the three goals, each in the fourth minute of regulation time in each of the halves.
Sigma’s victory was decided by three standards. But gradually. The opening was relatively balanced, but no major chances were created. Sigma took the lead after a corner kick. It was played by Sláma, and after Mikulenka finished with a knee, the spectators at Andrová Stadium rejoiced for the first time. In the 26th minute, it could have been two, Mikulenka had a decent chance, but his shot was blocked by Vydra for a corner. Mikulenka headed it over. It was then equalized eleven minutes before the break. The guests counter-attacked well, Sigma left too much space for Kušej, who beat Stoppen. In the 43rd minute, Pokorný’s header was caught by goalkeeper Trmal after a corner. But in the end, she went to the locker room with the Sigma management. In the setting of the first half, there was a free kick almost from the halfway line. Spáčil kicked the ball after the cross. But so well that Kliment was able to hit the ball to the right post without catching it. But the Hanáci lost their lead shortly after the change of sides. In the 48th minute, for the second time in the game, they faltered a bit defensively and Boleslav punished again. And it could have been worse. Fortunately for Sigma, Pulkrab did not have time to finish and Kušej was not accurate. So Olomouc’s winning shot could pass. It happened in the fourth minute of regulation, when Vodháněl’s corner was headed into the goal by Kliment. It was his fifth goal of the season.
“We are happy that we were able to win at home again. I rate the course of the match as very attractive and interesting. Especially in the second half, the actions spilled from one side to the other. In the end, we were lucky to make it to the winning end. I appreciate that the guys went for the win. We started the match well, leading twice, but the opponent always equalized quite early. Boleslav showed how strong it is going forward,” said SK Sigma coach Tomáš Janotka.
