After getting fired by the Arizona CardinalsKliff Kingsbury has no interest in pursuing a new coaching job. At least not at the moment. The former Cards head coach is currently enjoying Thailand with no return trip in sight.
After his 4-13 season, Kingsbury is detoxing from the NFL alongside Instagram model girlfriend Veronica Bielik. The Polish-American social media star is an avid IG poster, but has an agreement with the coach to not feature him in posts or stories, despite being linked to each other since October of 2020.
Fans are asking Bielik regarding Kingsbury’s status
Whitemeanwhile, has shared several posts from the Asian nation. With several fans commenting “how is Kliff?”, or “when are you and Kliffy coming back?”
The IG influencer hasn’t responded, but it is believed that the former Cadinals coach is the one taking pictures of her (first) from the balcony of a Bangkok hotel, and now from a beach resort in Koh Samui, Thailand’s second largest island.
Kingsbury’s buyout clause might be in peril
When an NFL coach is fired, they are typically entitled to buyout money only when pursuing other opportunities. If Kingsbury has no plans on coming back to the States any time soon, his remaining cash might be declared void.
The coach’s hiatus, however might be great news for Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill. If the franchise determine that Cliff Kingsbury is walking away from coaching, they might be excused from paying out the rest of HC’s contract. Kingsbury was hired in 2019 and earned an extension through 2027 just 10 months ago.
