“May the Easter holiday inspire us to be, with a good thought and a gesture of solidarity, closer to our fellow men who are suffering, hit by war or misfortune”, declared the President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, in a message sent on the occasion The Easter holidays celebrated by the Orthodox, Greek Catholic, Armenian and neo-Protestant cults.

The President of Romania says that “The Resurrection of the Lord brings us together to enjoy the triumph of faith over death and suffering”.

“In these moments of intense spiritual joy, I send wishes of health, peace and prosperity to all Orthodox, Greek-Catholic, Armenian and Neo-Protestant Romanians, in the country or in the diaspora communities,” declared Klaus Iohannis.

“May the Easter holiday inspire us to be, with a good thought and a gesture of solidarity, closer to our fellow men in suffering, hit by war or misfortune, affected by the loss of loved ones or the burden of loneliness. Guided by the light of Christ’s love, let us give understanding, compassion and support to all those who need our help”, he added.

“May the Holy Easter strengthen us in faith and hope, guide us further with the light of the Lord’s Resurrection, towards the fulfillment of the common good”, the President also affirmed.
