The Minister of Youth and Sports in the caretaker government, George Kallas, sent greetings to “distinguished colleagues and female employees of the Ministry of Youth and Sports,” saying: “I wish the people of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, on the occasion of the blessed holidays and the New Year, blessed times filled with happiness, health and peace of mind.”
Kallas added: “Together we look forward to building a better future despite all the challenges, difficulties and harsh economic conditions. You have proven that you are from all of Lebanon and for all of Lebanon, and you worked according to your conscience and in exceptional circumstances to provide better opportunities for the success of sports, youth and scouting events, in a manner that guarantees the continued brilliance of national teams, teams and sports clubs in international fields.
He concluded: “Thank you to each of you for your efforts and sacrifices. You have proven with your dedication that you are people of determination and deserve a homeland equal to your hopes. All appreciation for your efforts, and my sincere hopes that the new year will bring good tidings for Lebanon, and that the contract of constitutional institutions will be completed with the election of a president for the republic and Lebanon will be restored.” The confidence of the youth and restores them to his heart.
