Mumbai: Lucknow Supergiants skipper KL Rahul, who was injured during the 16th season of IPL, has undergone a successful surgery. Rahul was injured in his right leg. Rahul took to social media to thank the doctors and other medical staff members for the successful operation. It was earlier confirmed that due to the injury, Rahul will miss the remaining matches of the IPL and the World Test Championship final once morest Australia at The Oval from June 7.
It is now unclear when KL Rahul will be able to return to competitive cricket following the surgery. Rahul’s goal is to prepare for the ODI World Cup, which will be held in October.
