The KKE was the first party to unofficially open the pre-election period for the June 9 European elections with the descent and speech of the party’s general secretary Dimitris Koutsoubas in January.
Entering the final stretch for the polls, the Sectoral Committee of Achaia of the Communist Party organizes a series of gatherings and events to send its own political message to the voters and the choice it offers for the European path of the country. The general plan does not lack actions for the elections in TEE of Western Greece, where the KKE supports her candidacy of Nikos Chrysovitsanos.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdaythe KKE of Achaia organizes three pre-election events. Her Tuesdaythe events are transferred to bookstore of the Modern Erawhere at 7 pm there will be an event on the occasion of the upcoming TEE elections on the topic: “Developments in the field of engineers and TEE. The KKE’s position at the opposite end of EU policy”. The head of the University will speak there Nikos Chrysovitsanos and the member of the Environment department of the Central Committee of the KKE Dimitris Koutzis.
Her Wednesday in the followingnoon at 8, on Multipurpose fish ladder there will be an event with artists and people of culture. The KKE MP and well-known journalist will speak Semina Digenithe deputy of Achaia Nikos Karathanasopoulosthe party’s MEP candidate Katerina Demeti and the municipal councilor Pavlos Skouras.
The KKE, for years, has been investing in Achaia and Western Greece, as it considers that the municipal authority of Patras opens up fertile ground for attracting voters who do not belong to the core of the party. The goal is to appear “much stronger for a pan-European counterattack for Greece and the Europe of socialism, the Europe of the workers, the farmers, the people.”
The events of the KKE will culminate towards the end of the pre-election period with the arrival of D. Koutsoubas in Achaia for a tour.
