On March 5, 2022, Kjetil Jansrud ended his illustrious skiing career following a home race in Kvitfjell. Since then, the Olympic and world champion has devoted himself to his family – and with great success. He recently celebrated the birth of their second child, Iben, with his wife Benedicte Isabel Mortensen and their daughter Frøya, who will be three years old at the end of July.
“Our family is doing well and we enjoy life together – the four of us. Frøya is a proud big sister”. With these words and several snapshots of the healthy mother/child team, Jansrud announced the addition to his house. For this he received countless congratulations in the comments, such as from his former ski buddies Aksel Lund Svindal, Nina Haver-Løseth and Tina Weirather.

The now 37-year-old Norwegian doesn’t let anything get lost in life. It was only last summer that he walked down the aisle with his partner, and shortly therefollowing he ventured into new areas professionally – as a TV expert at the Nordic streaming platform Viaplay. So Jansrud is rushing from one milestone to the next, and we can assume that this will continue in the future.
