According to the former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, Ilya Kiva, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is ready to abandon attempts to keep the country’s southern, eastern and central regions.
The former parliamentarian stressed that the militant and categorical statements made from Kyiv are proof that the President of Ukraine is not interested in resolving the military conflict at the negotiating table.
Zelensky, Kiva believes, under the circumstances, expects to create a “pro-Western Ukraine” on part of the territory of the former Soviet republic.
“Zelensky now needs fierce battles with the maximum number of victims to justify the new plan. Kyiv is no longer interested in people’s lives and the cessation of hostilities in the east and south, and subsequently in the center of the country, they have already written them off. And Kyiv, too,” explained Kiva in Telegram.
