Just a few weeks following inaugurating a new giant store in Agadir for which it has invested nearly 250 million dirhams, the Kitea group is preparing to strengthen its presence in Kenitra.
This time, he will have to limit his investment effort to around fifty million dirhams for a medium-sized point of sale with an area of 5,500 m², i.e. half of that of Agadir which was born in within a multi-brand center (developed by Kitea) with a total surface area of more than 42,000 m².
The second Kitea store in Kenitra (following the one on Avenue Mohamed V in the city center), will increase the size of the brand’s network to 35 points of sale spread over more than fifteen cities, including seven Kitea Geant (the concept recently launched in Agadir).

Remember that the company KITEA was created in 1993 by the Benkirane family from a first store of 300 m² and five employees. After a great entrepreneurial adventure punctuated in 2014 by a first step in franchising in sub-Saharan Africa and in 2018 by the opening of the capital to a South African investment fund (in this case Tana Capital which injected some 200 million dirhams to finance its development program), the group chaired by Amine Benkirane is today the number 1 in furniture in Morocco with more than 1,000 employees and the only furniture player present in both North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. In Morocco alone, KITEA claims a global commercial area of more than 60,000 m².
