Kirby and the Forgotten World: discover 6 minutes of new gameplay with Kirby’s new transformations – Nintendo Switch

Each new presentation of Kirby and the Forgotten World only increases our desire to play it and that of the Nintendo Direct of Wednesday (of which you can find all listings HERE) was no exception to the rule. In fact, we discovered new details and a promising new ability in the cheeky name: the transformism ! While Kirby can always, in previous episodes, swallow his enemies to monopolize their specificities, with the transformismKirby can now just swallow or rather encompass (and why not say “engober“?) certain objects and elements of the scenery so that he can use them to his advantage. So when Kirby “engobe“A can dispenser, he does not turn into a dispenser but takes control of it to move around and use his cans as projectiles. This is a technique that necessarily opens up a lot of possibilities, a bit like the Champimorphose in Super Mario Odyssey allowing Mario thanks to Cappy to control in turn a Cheep-Cheep, a ball of fire, a tank, a T-Rex and even a Christmas tree. We don’t know yet if there will be a lot of objects and elements that can be transformed, but during the Nintendo Direct, in addition to the can dispenser, we have seen Kirby use Transformism on a construction cone, a light bulb or even a car… Some players will also think that Nintendo shows too much and that it would be better to discover all this controller in main (but surely not you because otherwise you wouldn’t be reading these words…) If this is your case, then you won’t want to see the gameplay video published by Nintendo Everything from videos gleaned from the game’s official Japanese website and which allows you to see in action the different transformations of Kirby but also the powers upgraded to the‘Armurerie Waddle Dee. As a reminder, Kirby and the Forgotten World will be available next March 25 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
