King Charles Wants to Remove Andrew-Harry from the Position of State Counselor

London

Raja Charles III reportedly wants to change the law (UU) that regulates the position of National Advisor in the Government English. The change might trigger a dramatic shift, with Prince Andrew, Prince Harry and Princess Beatrice set to be stripped of key roles.

As reported Express.co.ukTuesday (20/9/2022), Prince Andrew who was the younger brother of King Charles, Prince Harry who is his youngest child and Princess Beatrice who was the eldest son of Prince Andrew and nephew of King Charles, now holds that important war within the British Empire.

If the plan to amend the Law on State Advisors or Counsellors of State if it really materialized, then the three of them would lose that position.

Prince Andrew, Prince Harry and Princess Beatrice are both retired members of the British Royal family (non-working royals). But these three are three of the five State Counselors the new King of England can rely on in carrying out his constitutional duties, if the King falls ill or is not in England.

The position is regulated in the Trusteeship Law (Regency Act) In 1937, when the spouse of the King and four members of the royal family who are adults or over the age of 21, in the line of succession to the throne, automatically become Counselors who can replace the King in his official duties.

The official duties in question include meetings Privy Councilsigning routine documents and receiving new Ambassador credentials in the UK.

King Charles, according to British media reports, the Telegraph, wants the law amended so that only members of the British royal family serve officially — the Firm — who can be an Advisor. The move means removing Prince Andrew, Prince Harry and Princess Beatrice.
