King Charles has returned to public duties for the first time since being diagnosed with cancer.
According to newsit, the king and the queen Camila arrived at the University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Center in London.
The King and Queen Camilla arrived at University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Center in London in a public show of support for staff, patients and ongoing research work.
Apart from attending the church service on Easter Sunday, the King has stayed away from public events.
But last week Buckingham Palace issued a statement with a more positive message about the monarch’s health.
“His Majesty will soon resume his public activities following a period of treatment and recovery.”
A spokesman for Buckingham said the king will continue his treatment, but doctors are satisfied with his progress and it means Charles will be able to resume some of his duties.
His activities, however, “will be adjusted, if necessary, to minimize the risk” to his health.
Today is his first public appearance since doctors told him to avoid public duties while he undergoes cancer treatment.
