King Abdulaziz Road in Makkah has been temporarily opened

Riyadh: King Abdulaziz Road has been temporarily opened to facilitate the movement of those coming to Makkah Haram during Ramadan. Makkah Deputy Governor Ameer Badr bin Sultan inaugurated the event.

The Deputy Governor inspected the latest stages of road construction. Investment Minister Ng. Khalid Al Falih, Minister of Transport Logistics Eng. Salih Al Jasser, Hajj-Umrah Minister Dr. Tawfiq Al Rabia, Makkah Acting Mayor Salih Al-Turki, Makkah, Masha’ir Royal Commission Chairman Eng. Salih Al Rashid also participated. A 3.65 km stretch of King Abdulaziz Road under construction has been temporarily opened to facilitate the movement of visitors and pilgrims during the month of Ramadan. With this, travel to and from the Haram will be easier for buses and guests of hotels near the Haram.
