The 11th generation “normal” (“standard”) Kindle is the entry-level model of Amazon’s e-readers. However, don’t think that because it’s cheaper it’s not worth it. There are interesting features in it that were previously exclusive to the Paperwhite, a more expensive model.
The main highlights of the 11th generation of the “normal” Kindle are the night mode and the lighting adjustment, bringing greater comfort for reading at night. Another improvement worth mentioning is the display, which now has a higher resolution and reaches 300 ppi (pixels per inch).
If you’re looking for a Kindle with a larger capacity, know that the Kindle 11th generation’s storage has increased to 16GB. This way it will be easier to store many books, articles, comics and manga on the Amazon e-reader.
The Kindle 11th generation battery can last up to 6 weeks. Charging is done via a USB-C cable, allowing you to use other cables if you wish.

Kindle Paperwhite 5
The Kindle Paperwhite is the most popular model among enthusiastic readers who don’t want to invest in the Kindle Oasis, Amazon’s top of the line e-readers. If the “normal” Kindle doesn’t satisfy you and you want an even better reading experience, the Kindle Paperwhite 5 might be the right choice.
With a 6.8″ screen, the Kindle Paperwhite provides a better experience when viewing content. Even though the “normal” 11th generation Kindle and the Kindle Paperwhite 4 have a 6″ screen, this difference of 0.8 ” it makes a difference especially if you read comic books (comics and manga), as well as PDF files, as there is better sizing of the text.
Another interesting point of the Kindle Paperwhite 5 is its fluidity in the transition between pages due to the use of a more powerful chipset and the implementation of the Carta 1200 e-ink display. Furthermore, just like the Kindle 11th generation, the Kindle Paperwhite allows adjustment of light temperature, to make it whiter or more yellow.

It is important to mention that in the Paperwhite 5 we have 17 LEDs spread across the screen while the Kindle 11th generation has only 4 LEDs. This affects the homogeneity of lighting when reading at night, which depends on the lighting of the e-reader.
Regarding the battery, Amazon claims that the Kindle Paperwhite 5 is capable of lasting up to 10 weeks. The USB-C port is also used here for charging, which is an interesting point to take into consideration, as was said above for the 11th generation Kindle.
