On the evening of Friday, August 16, 2024, the Ministry of Labor and Civil Service announced the cancellation of the 10th competitive examination for 744 candidates registered at the Fulaya University Center in Kindia. The decision was made after massive fraud marred the conduct of the competition.
Since the launch of the competition, the Minister of Labour and Civil Service Affairs has insisted on the integrity and transparency of the competition process. However, the quality assurance mechanism exposed serious irregularities at the center, thereby undermining the credibility and sincerity of the test. According to the press release, organized fraud was discovered, resulting in the cancellation of the results of 744 candidates.
In order to guarantee equal opportunities for all applicants, the Ministry has scheduled a make-up session for Monday, August 19, 2024 at 12:00 noon. The candidates concerned will be assigned to centres in Conakry and Mamou. The assignment and installation lists are already available on the Ministry’s digital platform.
Candidates will also be informed of the details of this new meeting by telephone. Despite the events in Kindia, the Ministry reiterates its commitment to maintaining the integrity of the process and providing fair conditions for all applicants.
