In a kindergarten in Banqiao, New Taipei, children were fed drugs. Drug reactions such as “barbital” and “benzodiazepines” were detected in the bodies of 8 students, and even the son of the principal also tested positive. It is understood that 17 parents have reported the case to the kindergarten. In this regard, Wang Weijun, chairman of the Association for the Promotion of Children’s Rights, said that some parents asked for help following their children were fed drugs, and their children developed withdrawal symptoms such as hair pulling and hitting the wall, which made the parents feel heartbroken and uncomfortable.

Wang Weijun, chairman of the Association for the Promotion of Children’s Rights, said that the association recently received reports from victims’ parents that their children were fed drugs and abused by kindergarten teachers. Children have been fed “Rainbow Potion” by teachers. Parents filmed that the child was suspected of having withdrawal symptoms, screamed out of control in front of the camera, and even performed self-harm behaviors such as pulling hair and hitting walls, which made people very sad to see.

Wang Weijun said that one of the victimized parents said that her child had become irritable and irritable since the Chinese New Year this year, and would even pull his hair and self-mutilate, so she took the child for a test, and found that there were “barbital” in the child’s body, etc. drug reaction. “Barbiturate” is a third-level control drug, and it is also a third-level drug under the supervision of the Ministry of Justice. It is easy to produce physiological dependence, and it is rarely used clinically. It is only used in surgery rooms or to treat severe epilepsy.

Wang Weijun believes that the residual amount of barbiturate in the blood is 3 days, but the doctor still detected a small amount of drugs in the test on June 6, which shows that the child should have been fed drugs for a long time and the dose was not low. How much drug was fed to the child? How much to use, how often to feed, and whether the drug will affect the child’s future brain and neurodevelopment, and whether there are other sequelae, I hope the government can give parents an explanation as soon as possible.

Wang Weijun pointed out two other doubts! “Just ask these 8 teachers?” Wang Weijun thinks that as long as there are teachers who have taught in this kindergarten, “even the teachers who leave the school should be tracked down?” The three teachers in July can’t beat others, other teachers can do it. “But why are these three teachers not on the list?”

Finally, Wang Weijun released the list of parents and the Education Bureau to come on June 6. At that time, some parents reported that there were not many teachers on the list. It also lists the parents who have assisted a total of 10 children so far, “Parents who need our help, please private message me.”
