Kimberly Rider Has Action Scenes in the Movie Isolation Ward – 2024-07-14 18:09:47

ACTRESS Kimberly Rider shares her experience playing an action scene in the film Bangsal Isolation, which will be shown in cinemas starting July 25, 2024.

“I play the role of Weni, a journalist who is quite reckless, entering a prison that is as harsh and messy as that,” said Kimberly in a special interview session, quoted Friday (12/7).

During the filming process for the film Bangsal Isolation, Kimberly admitted to facing several challenges in playing the action scenes.

“One of the difficulties is in the action. This is the first time I’ve acted in a film where I’m the one doing the action,” said the 30-year-old woman.

“So, my body was not fit at that time because I didn’t exercise, that was quite challenging for me,” he continued.

However, Kimberly was able to complete the action scenes required for the film thanks to training with a special trainer and studying the script in depth.

“We have choreography, we have practice, because it depends on the set and it has been adjusted (the choreography),” said Kimberly.

In addition to telling regarding the challenges of playing action scenes in the film Bangsal Isolation, Kimberly& explained the reasons for returning to acting in a feature film.

“That’s because my children are getting bigger, so I can leave them alone for longer,” he said.

“Then, I saw the synopsis, wow, it looks interesting, it seems like there hasn’t been a story regarding a women’s prison in Indonesia, so it can’t be missed,” he added.

The film Bangsal Isolation includes 40% action scenes, 30% drama scenes, and 30% suspense scenes, according to director Adhe Dharmastriya.

Adhe said the action scenes in the film Bangsal Isolation were quite challenging.

“Fighting scenes involving many people are quite draining, it can take two days to do them,” said Adhe.

“But, the rest for the players, I believe in each character and we discuss it too,” he concluded. (Ant/Z-1)
