North Chungcheong governor Kim Young-hwan, who belongs to People’s Power, strongly criticized former leader Lee Jun-seok, saying, “Now is the time to end this double life because you are the leader of the ruling party who is enthusiastically supported by the opposition.”

He also pointed out that the court’s decision to suspend the execution of the duties of the emergency response committee chairman Ho-young Joo was “a misuse of the judiciary’s authority.”

On the 27th, Governor Kim made this statement on social media by posting a critique of the judge and former CEO Lee who made the decision to suspend the execution of the duties of the chairman of the People’s Power.

“I exchanged the judgment like a piece of paper with the anger of the supporters of the ruling party,” he said. Then, he said, “He will return as the party leader? Well, is it possible?” “With the outrage of the party members? It’s not even worth a dime.”

Governor Kim said, “Ex-CEO Lee Jun-seok won, but even if he won, he did not win, but lost the most.” Finally, he emphasized, “How long will politics depend on the negative selection of the Democratic Party?” He emphasized, “The person who succeeds the election is the party leader, and the person who controls the government is the president.”

Governor Kim lamented, “This incident is an abuse of the judiciary’s authority and arrogance and arrogance that put the judge’s political judgment at the fore.”

“They succeeded in inflicting a blow to the people’s power, but the trust of the judiciary has fallen to the ground,” he said.

Chairman Joo also criticized the day before, saying, “For the judiciary to deny and regulate the internal decisions of a political party, it undermines the constitutional spirit of party autonomy.” Governor Kim also shares the assertion of Chairman Joo that it is right for the party to judge the situation within the party on its own.

Earlier, the Civil Division 51 (Chief Judge Hwang Jung-soo) of the Seoul Southern District Court ruled that the day before, the execution of the duties of Chairman Joo should be suspended until the final judgment was finalized. The court ruled in this way, saying that there was a substantial defect because an emergency did not occur to the extent of violating the power of the people.
