Prime Minister François Legault marked the 100th anniversary of the birth of actress and writer Kim Yaroshevskaya, known for her interpretation of “Fanfreluche”.
The Russian-Canadian, who immigrated to Quebec at the age of 10, left her mark on two generations of Quebecers for her involvement in the province’s television culture.
“You have become the great storyteller of our childhood. Your story is inspiring, he said. You created Fanfreluche and performed it on television for more than 15 years.”
