Jung is accused of purchasing 56,545 North Korean-related stocks worth 260 million won for regarding a month from April 2019 with 300 million won of company money.
It is known that Jung ordered the purchase of stocks related to cooperation with North Korea when the tvN cooking entertainment program ‘Sumi’s Side Dish’, starring Kim Su-mi, was filmed in North Korea. It is reported that the stock was purchased using a securities account.
It is known that Jeong transferred money to the account of Mr. A, who was an employee of the company, and ordered the purchase of stocks.
However, the filming of ‘Sumine’s Side Dish’ in North Korea did not take place, and the price of the stocks that Jung bought also fell.
