[풋볼리스트] Reporter Huh In-hoe = Tanguy Ndombele (Tottenham Hotspur) is likely to transfer to Naples on loan, but Naples will mostly shoulder the burden of weekly wages.

Reporter Fabrizio Romano, who is keen on the European transfer market, tweeted: “Napoli pays most of Ndombele’s wages. The rent was agreed to be around 1 million euros (regarding 1.3 billion won). The full signing option can be activated in June 2023 and will cost 30 million euros (regarding 39.9 billion won).”

Ndombele is a midfield resource that has been engulfed in rumors of release throughout the summer transfer period. He joined Tottenham in 2019 for the highest transfer fee of all time, but contrary to his high expectations, his performance has been poor. He might not secure his position even while going through several leadership positions, including manager Jose Mourinho, and even turned away from coach Antonio Conte. After being loaned to Olympique Crion in January, he did not participate in this pre-season tour.

For Tottenham in the sale of Ndombele, Napoli’s approach was quite fortunate. This is because no clubs have actively shown their willingness to sign him as he hasn’t shown much in the past few seasons. In particular, high transfer fees and weekly wages were obstacles. Even if Tottenham were to send Ndombele on loan, they had to pay a portion of their salary.

Napoli’s starting midfielder Fabian Luis is highly likely to leave for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). Lewis’s vacancy might be filled by Stanislav Robotka and André Frank Zambo Anggisa, but rotation resources were judged to be necessary. Ndom Belle, who was wandering around without finding a destination, was a suitable player, and in the end decided to pay most of his weekly salary. Finally, if the player accepts the details, the loan transfer will be completed.

Tottenham, who succeeded in reinforcing players such as Ivan Perisic, Yves Bisuma, Hisharlisson and Clement Langley, are now actively cleaning up. In addition to Ndombele, Giovanni Rosselso, Harry Winks, Sergio Reguilon, and Japhet Tanganga are also mentioned as the objects of arrangement.
