‘Kim Min-jae signing rumors’ Man Utd, January transfer market promotes loan signings

[마이데일리 = 김종국 기자] The possibility that Manchester United (hereinafter referred to as Man United) will not sign a player in the January transfer market is attracting attention.

On the 3rd (Korean time), British media Sky Sports re-examined the rumors of Man Utd’s signing of Kim Min-jae, saying, “Man United is aiming to sign Napoli’s center back Kim Min-jae in the summer transfer market.” Also, ‘Man Utd Ten Hagh is actively strengthening the defense ahead of next season, and Kim Min-jae has emerged as a potential recruitment target. Napoli will face a risky situation in the summer transfer market due to the 38 million pound (approximately 58.4 billion won) Kim Min-jae buyout clause, he added.

Sky Sports said, ‘Man United are focusing on loan signings in the January transfer window, but it is highly likely that they will not sign anyone. Full recruitment cannot be ruled out, but in the January transfer market, there is a high possibility of reinforcing players through leasing.”

In the meantime, Kim Min-jae has been attracting attention due to rumors of a transfer to Manchester United. With Kim Min-jae’s buyout clause of 50 million euros (approximately 68 billion won) activated after the end of this season, Napoli is said to be promoting the deletion of the buyout through renewal of the contract with Kim Min-jae.

Napoli, where Kim Min-jae is the main defender, is leading the league this season with 13 wins and 2 draws (41 points) with an undefeated record in Serie A. Napoli resumes the season schedule after the World Cup break by playing round 16 of Serie A in the 2022-23 season against Inter Milan on the 5th.
