Directed by Ryan Murphy, this new installment is inspired by Danielle Valentine’s new novel, Delicate Condition, which will be released on August 1st. This thriller follows Anna Alcott, a young woman convinced that a “mysterious entity” wants her never to give birth.
If no information about the character of Kim Kardashian has been revealed, apart from her name, Tanya, the star appears in this trailer dressed all in black, sporting a platinum blonde hairstyle with an infant in her arms.
“I like to challenge myself”
Asked about her character on the sidelines of the Met Gala last May, Kim Kardashian said she was “very impatient” at the idea of playing Tanya, one of the leading roles in this new part of American Horror Story.
“We start shooting at the end of the month. But the production has already started and I’m very impatient. It’s a challenge. I like to challenge myself,” she confided at the time to the American media Variety.
At 42, Kim Kardashian has already starred in several films in the late 2000s, and also lent her voice to a character in the animated film Paw Patrol. But American Horror Story will be his first big screen role.
This multi-award-winning series is made up of independent seasons, centered around different stories and locations. Its cast very often includes celebrities, such as Lady Gaga or Angela Bassett.
Shooting while stationary
In addition to Kim Kardashian, American Horror Story: Delicate will feature comedians Emma Roberts and Cara Delevingne who can be seen in the trailer, as well as Matt Czuchry, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, MJ Rodriguez and Odessa A’zion.
