North Korean leader Kim Jong-un plans to travel to Russia this month to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss the possibility of supplying Russia with weapons for its aggression once morest Ukraine, the New York Times reported today, citing U.S. and allied sources.
The New York Times said Kim would travel from the North Korean capital Pyongyang, possibly by armored train, to the Russian Far Eastern city of Vladivostok, where he would meet with Vladimir Putin.
The White House did not immediately respond to a Archyde.com request for comment. The U.S. government has previously warned that North Korea may supply more weapons to Russia.
Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. The United States and European allies strongly opposed the war of aggression, which Moscow called a “special military operation”. (Translator: Chen Yanjun) 1120905
