On the 21st, Kim Eun-hye, a candidate for the People’s Power Gyeonggi governor, said, “I told my husband to promise not to take a corporate card (if elected as Gyeonggi governor).” It is interpreted that Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party’s candidate for Incheon Gyeyang-eul, and Kim Hye-kyung, the wife of the candidate’s wife, Kim Hye-kyung, emphasized the distinction from the Democratic Party’s Gyeonggi governor candidate Kim Dong-yeon.
Earlier, Kim Hye-kyung is suspected of delivering beef and sushi using a Gyeonggi corporate card while Lee served as the Gyeonggi governor.
Candidate Kim said, “I will live a clean life” at a rally at Byeoksan Intersection in Manan-gu, Anyang, Gyeonggi-do this morning.
Candidate Kim said to her husband, “I never asked for my corporate card to be coveted.”
He added, “I still didn’t feel relieved. My husband is a person who likes to eat, so I wanted to ask for one last thing to get the promise.”
Candidate Kim emphasized, “I will become a clean provincial governor and outsider. I will be fairly checked and monitored, not an audit with arms bent inward, like a cat and fish by planting an entourage in the auditor’s office.” The supporters cheered and applauded.
The offensive once morest candidate Kim Dong-yeon continued.
Candidate Eun-hye Kim criticized, “The other candidate said, ‘Basic income is populism without a philosophy’, but when he becomes the Democratic Party’s candidate, he says that he will inherit basic income.”
After the Anyang campaign, candidate Kim visited Gunpo City to reinforce the promise of mayor Ha Eun-ho of the same party as ‘prompt promotion of new city reconstruction, redevelopment, and remodeling’.
