As a result of a survey of 1006 adult men and women living in Seoul, Mayor Oh Se-hoon took 54.6 percent and Democratic Party candidate Song Young-gil 32.7 percent, leading Mayor Oh 21.9 percentage points, which is outside the margin of error. Justice Party candidate Kwon Soon-jung won 3.6 percent.

The power of the people was strong in the Incheon mayoral election. As a result of a survey of 853 adult men and women residing in Incheon, Yoo Jeong-bok, candidate for People’s Power, 41.5%, and Park Nam-chun, Mayor of Incheon, 36.3%, who belonged to the Democratic Party, took the lead with 5.2 percentage points within the margin of error. Justice Party candidate Lee Jung-mi won 5.0%.
