Killing of seven laborers in Panjgur: President and Prime Minister condemn

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have condemned the killing of seven laborers in Panjgur in separate statements.

President Asif Ali Zardari, in a statement released on Saturday, condemned the killing of Mazrudars in Panjgur area of ​​Balochistan and issued orders to take action against the ‘terrorists’ who targeted them.

He has condoled with the families of the deceased and prayed for the elevation of the dead.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has sought a report from the Chief Minister of Balochistan on the murder incident that took place in Khudaban area of ​​Panjgur and directed to take all possible steps to bring the killers to justice.

Apart from this, it has also been instructed not to spare any effort in the treatment of those injured in the same incident.

Condemning the incident, the Prime Minister said that ‘innocent laborers were building a house and the heinous attacks on them are highly condemnable.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated his determination to eradicate ‘terrorism’ from the motherland.

Earlier the province Balochistan District of Panjgur The police said on Saturday that unknown persons in the area opened fire and killed seven laborers belonging to Punjab.

Zaheer Ahmad, SHO of Panjgur City Police Station, while talking to Independent Urdu, said that ‘armed persons attacked at night and their firing led to the tragic incident of killing seven workers.’

According to him: ‘All the workers belong to Multan area of ​​Punjab who were staying here temporarily for the purpose of doing hard work.’

SHO Police Station Panjgur further said that the workers were attacked at around nine o’clock in the night when they were inside the four walls of their house.

“After the attack, the officials of the law enforcement agencies reached the area and started the operation.”

Panjgur City Police Station official Shehzad Ahmed told Independent Urdu that ‘the workers were targeted in an area called Khudabadan, located six kilometers north of the city police station.’

According to the SHO of the police station, “all the bodies and one injured have been shifted to the district headquarters hospital, while the condition of the injured is said to be critical.”

According to him: ‘The deceased were shot in the head and body. The persons who were killed belonged to the same area and are said to be relatives.’

He further said that the workers who lost their lives in the attack have been identified. In which Sajid, Fayaz, Khalid, Shafiq Ahmed, Iftikhar Ahmed, Salman, Ramzan are included while a laborer named Bilal was injured.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti have also condemned the incident in Panjgur.
