“Killing Giorgia and her daughter” –

A message appeared on the Facebook page of Fratelli d’Italia that reads: «Kill Gioggia and Ginevretta». This is what Fdi denounced in a post: «This is a threat that arrived on the Facebook page of Fratelli d’Italia and addressed to President Giorgia Meloni and her daughter. The climate of hatred and intolerance towards the Prime Minister and her family is becoming increasingly unacceptable and dangerous. Our full solidarity».

The president of the Fratelli d’Italia senators, Lucio Malan, also spoke out on the incredibly violent phrases: “The repeated threats made by keyboard warriors against Prime Minister Meloni since she took office have evidently not been enough. Now, after the Prime Minister’s visit to China, her daughter Ginevra has also ended up in the crosshairs of web haters, who has been the target of repeated threatening messages since she was caught on video with her mother in China. On behalf of the Fratelli d’Italia senators, I express the full solidarity of our parliamentary group; these episodes, which also involve a minor, are a real disgrace and I hope that the perpetrators can be identified.”
