Founder of a humanitarian aid organization called Work Central Kitchen (WCK), Jose Andres, believes that Israel is fighting humanity in Gaza. This criticism was opposed by Israel’s ally, the United States (US).
“This doesn’t seem like a war on terror. It seems like this is no longer a war to defend Israel. “At this point, it seems like this is a war once morest humanity itself,” said Andres, an American national.
Andres also regretted the Israeli drone attack that killed seven WCK volunteers on April 1. Andres said Israel’s actions not only harmed WCK with the deaths of seven volunteers, but also humanity.
The IDF (Israeli Military) argued that there were three attacks on the WCK convoy which had requested prior permission. Israeli officials failed to provide updated information to the convoy commander and targeted Hamas.
But Andres disputed the findings and said Israel might not be sheltered from blame by claiming Hamas threats. “Every time something happens, we can’t just involve Hamas.”
One of the fathers of a WCK worker who was a victim of Israeli barbarity, Jacob Flickinger, John Flickinger told Minister of Foreign Affairs Antony Blinken that the killings carried out by Israel in Hamas-controlled territory must end. According to John, his 33-year-old son has dual citizenship, US and Canada.

“If the US had stopped aid to Israel, maybe my son would be alive today,” said John Flickinger.
Meanwhile, the US rejected Andres’ criticism. Washington is also reluctant to condemn Israel’s barbarity once morest the seven WCK volunteers and only asks Israel to evaluate its targeting in Gaza so that it no longer sacrifices civilians.
“There must be some changes in the way Israeli defense forces conduct these operations in Gaza to ensure this does not happen once more,” said White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby.
He believes that Israel must change the deconfliction process between aid workers in the field and its military or IDF headquarters so that targeting like this cannot happen once more. (The Guardian/M-3)
