London• The funeral of Gerald Neto, a UK Malayali who was killed in London, will be held on April 19. Burial will be at Southall Hortus Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Services will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the home on Southall Beechcroft Ave. The body will be taken to St. Anselm’s Church at 11 a.m. for public viewing and services. Culture at one o’clock. Refreshments are also provided in the church hall from two o’clock.

Gerald Neto was attacked on March 18 on Uxbridge Road in Hanwell, near Southall. Local youth were behind the attack. Gerald was found beaten on the roadside. The police patrol team took him to the hospital. Gerald, who was in a critical condition, was immediately transferred to a ventilator, but his life might not be saved. He was deeply wounded in the chest.
Two sixteen-year-olds and a twenty-year-old man were taken into custody by the Metropolitan Police. A 16-year-old is still in remand. The Metropolitan Police said further investigations are underway.
